Treatment
Treatment of mastitis includes taking antibiotics, pain medications, massage and compresses, as well as continuing breastfeeding.
Prevention
Preventive measures for mastitis include proper attachment of the baby to the breast during feeding, observance of breast hygiene, avoidance of overheating and stressful situations.
